mark johnsonMARK JOHNSON

Mark played for his father “Badger Bob” at Wisconsin where he was a two-time All-American and member of the 1977 NCAA Championship team. He was the leading scorer on the 1980 Gold Medal Olympic Team, competed in eight World Championships and three Canada Cup Tournaments. He has now retired from 13 years in professional hockey (11 seasons in the NHL and 2 seasons in Europe). He was Assistant Coach of the University of Wisconsin Men's Hockey Team for 6 years and 2010 Coach of the Silver Medalist Women's Olympic Hockey.  Mark is currently the Head Coach of the University of Wisconsin Women's Hockey Team and has won 4 National Championships in the past 6 seasons!


pete johnsonPETER JOHNSON

Peter scouted for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL for 9 years. He previously served as Assistant Coach of three outstanding college programs: Wisconsin, Bowling Green and Cornell. Peter played for his father “Badger Bob” at Wisconsin and was a member of the 1981 NCAA Championship team and captained the ‘81-’82 team. Peter was a member of the U.S. National Team in 1982 and ‘83; participated in the National Olympic Festival in ‘81,’82 and ‘83 and played in the 1982 World Ice Hockey Tournament in Finland. He was the Assistant Coach of the University of Wisconsin Women's Hockey Team in 2010 and is currently the Head Coach of the U16 Girls team at Shattuck St. Mary’s in Faribault, MN.

tim mcconnellTIM MCCONNELL

Tim is a 34-year veteran of the Hockey School. A college football coach for 13 years, Tim has a wealth of experience working with young people in many important capacities. As the play-by-play announcer for the Hockey School games, he has established a national reputation as the “Voice of the Rockies”, and claims a large and varied following. Tim splits his time in Colorado Springs, CO and Scottsdale, AZ where he is President of Summit Financial Strategies Group.


SCOTT MCCONNELL

Scott, the grandson of Bob Johnson, played hockey for the University of Denver hockey team from 2000-2004. He was a member of the 2004 University of Denver Championship Team. Before joining Denver in 2000, Scott played three seasons of junior hockey in the NAHL and USHL. Past coaching jobs also include a stint as Associate Head Coach of the Bay City Bombers of the WSHL, where he was chosen as a coach for the 2004 WSHL All-Star Game, and Assistant Head Coach for the Billings Bulls of the NAHL. Associate Head Coach for the Indiana Ice in the USHL. Scott coached in the 2008 USHL Prospect/All Star Game. Scott was the Assistant Coach with the Pittsburg Penquins top farm team in 2010, the Wilkes Barre Penquins in the AHL. Scott is currently the GM and Head Coach for the Chicago Steal of the USHL, the top junior hockey league in America.
